Transports students, staff, program participants or visitors, to and from program areas safely. Other duties as assigned.JOB DUTIES
50%- Essential
Safety:
Responsible for load safely secured and roadworthy before departure. Visually inspect bus for any needed repairs/maintenance and make sure they have been completed. Ensure oil and filters have been changed in accordance with maintenance procedures. Ensure tires are inflated, and inspected for damage and are in good working order. 45%- Essential
Driver:
Transport students, staff, program participants or visitors to and from program areas. Drive vehicles, cars, buses to the various sites for programmatic use. 5%- Essential
Other:
Other duties as assigned by the program or facilities directors.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education- None
- Experience in the operation or maintenance of heavy equipment, motorized vehicles or machinery that Licenses
- Drivers License Class
B CDL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Education- High School or Equivalent
- 2 yrs.
RESPONSIBILITIES JOB KNOWLEDGE
Fundamental Job Knowledge- Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No Supervisory Duties- Not responsible for supervising employees.
