Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Bus Driver with a Class B CDL and Passenger and School Bus endorsements for a direct hire, full-time opportunity in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for an experienced transportation professional who takes pride in safely serving students, families, and the school community. This position offers steady work in an education-focused environment with supportive leadership, a team-oriented culture, and opportunities to earn additional hours through school events, field trips, and related transportation needs. The School Bus Driver will play an important role in helping students start and end their school day safely, on time, and with a positive experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a school bus on assigned morning and afternoon routes.
  • Transport students to and from school, activities, field trips, and special events as needed.
  • Follow all traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and calm environment for student passengers.
  • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with transportation staff, school personnel, students, and families when appropriate. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $23 to $27 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
  • Direct hire, full-time position.
  • Location:
    Nashville, TN 37205.
  • Split shift schedule, generally 5:45am to 9:00am and 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
