RequirementsEssential Functions Drive in a safe, competent manner a bus on busy public streets Meet and deal with the general public and diverse company employees in a prompt and courteous manner Handle stressful situations and difficult people in person while maintaining a professional and pleasant composure Perform an interior and exterior physical inspection of the vehicle daily and accurately complete the departmental documents/forms for inspection Coordinate smoothly with the onboard Tour Guide to keep tours running on schedule Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to learn and follow assigned routes and schedules Ability to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations Ability to deal with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people in a calm and pleasant manner Ability to read, write, and speak clear English in order to communicate with co-workers, the general public, law enforcement, and emergency personnel, and to complete required paperwork correctly Ability to learn new duties, policies, and procedures and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old Must already hold a valid TN CDL Class B with airbrake and passenger endorsements Acceptable driving record for the past three years Other Requirements Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing Must pass a DOT physical upon employment Valid Nashville Entertainment Transportation Driver Permit. Must obtain within the first 60 days of being in this position Have a passion for helping people and making their Nashville experience a memorable one

!Bus Driver This position must have a good sense of fun and excellent driving skills as they drive a bus on busy public streets multiple times a work shift. A separate Tour Guide rides along to handle all narration and guest engagement, so the Driver can stay focused on safely operating the vehicle.
