Job Description

Summary of Position:
The Driver is knowledgeable and responsible for the safe transport of medically complex children to and from their home to a PPEC center setting. The Driver completes all vehicle inspections, maintains records/reports, and operates the transport vehicle cautiously while compliant with all state and federal regulations.
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
Valid State Driver's License required. Clean driving record. Must be able to pass background screen and drug screen. Previous transportation driving experience. Reliable and punctual. AHA or Red Cross approved BLS CPR.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Ability to stand, lift or assist in lifting an individual in an emergency. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and demonstrate flexibility to meet the care needs of the individual. Ability to see with visual and listen with hearing acuity. Strength and manual dexterity, including grasping and manipulating small objects, to operate medical equipment appropriately.
