Regular and Special Education The Driver Bus Regular and Special Education will provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation service by operating various school buses in transporting pupils to and from school as well as related activities while maintaining a harmonious relation with transportation staff, district administrators, teachers, coaches and community members.Qualification Requirements:
Texas driver's license is required. Will provide paid on the job training to obtain CDL with P and S endorsements. Pass annual Department of Transportation Pre-Employment Physical & Drug/Alcohol. Acceptable motor vehicle driving record based on TEA regulations/standards. Minimum of 1 years experience as a commercial driver is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance. Ability to maintain effective student behavior management over groups of children with special needs. Opportunity to work on additional routes, trips, etc.Background requirements:
Candidates must pass a drug screen and a background check. Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; however, they will not necessarily bar a candidate's employment.
