Job Title:
Substitute Bus Driver Reports to:
Transportation Supervisor FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED;
Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university or have passed the Para ETS Test (This test is available to take at the Clarkston School District Office)
Must possess or be able to obtain the appropriate CDL license;
Must have no points on driving record;
Must be able to pass physical, including drug test;
Fingerprint background check is required;
Must pass a criminal background check that meets required state, federal, and Clarkston School District standards;
Satisfactory completion of Bus Driver training course;
Must have, or be able to obtain, current valid CPR/First aid certificate
Safe Schools Training is REQUIRED, and needs to be completed BEFORE start date
Job Description:
Drives bus on assigned routes in a legal and safe manner
Reports misconduct on bus through established district procedures
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition
Cleans bus interior and exterior as needed
Completes paperwork as required
Other duties as assigned by Transportation Supervisor
