Base rate: $38.93 per hour (SC2BusPersonnel26-27.pdf) Position is eligible for membership in the Teamsters Local Union No. 763 which is part of the Lake Washington School District Trades Bargaining Council No. 763 (TBC).

Interviews will be scheduled, and positions filled from the applicant pool for openings as they occur. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the Transportation Department. Next training begins on October 12, 2026. Candidates will be interviewed throughout August and September.

Job Summary:
School Bus Drivers play a vital role in the Lake Washington School District, ensuring the safe transportation of students. As the first and last District employees our students encounter each day, drivers responsibly provide transportation for regular routes, field trips, and other activities.
Qualifications:
25 years of age or older Valid Washington State driver's license with a minimum of 5 years' experience Valid Commercial Driver's License Permit before training Ability to pass a Federal DOT Medical Evaluation Please review
