Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate school buses along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle mechanical integrity and safety readiness. Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and emergency responders as needed. Manage student behavior on board through positive behavior management techniques. Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students while following scheduled routes precisely. Keep accurate records of trips and incidents. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns from parents and school personnel. Provide the community with safe and reliable transportation for morning and afternoon bus routes. General care and cleaning of the inside and outside of the vehicle.Qualifications:
Must have, or be eligible to earn, a CDL. Must pass mandatory drug testing for drivers. Must pass a background check. Must have a clean driving record. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work and communicate well with others and work as a team. Ability to read and understand policies and safety procedures. Ability to demonstrate regular attendance, changing situations in the workplace, and exhibit flexibility.Other Information:
The district will cover the cost associated with any job-related physical. The district will cover the cost for driver training and licensing.Pay:
$120.00 per dayBenefits:
