Helper Delivery Appliance

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Helper Delivery Appliance to assist with the safe and efficient delivery of appliances to customers. This role involves loading, unloading, and transporting appliances, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, and heavy lifting, with a focus on safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading appliances from delivery vehicles, including box trucks and commercial vehicles Safely move appliances within customer locations using equipment such as handtruck and shoulder straps Support route driving duties by helping to navigate delivery routes efficiently Ensure proper handling of appliances during transport to prevent damage Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with appliance placement and answering basic questions Perform heavy lifting tasks to load and unload appliances, adhering to safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery equipment and work areas Assist with route planning and load securing to optimize delivery efficiency Qualifications Prior experience in customer service, warehouse operations, or delivery driving preferred Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, manual transmission vehicles, or box trucks is a plus Proven ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual labor tasks Strong organizational skills with attention to safety procedures Ability to work physically demanding shifts involving moving appliances repeatedly throughout the day Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with customers Previous experience as a courier or route driver is advantageous This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering quality service while developing valuable skills in appliance handling and logistics.
