Job Description
JOB This position is responsible for operating a Borough vehicle to provide Borough-wide courier services to various Borough facilities, including libraries, recreation facilities, transfer stations, and other operational sites, as well as local businesses and partner agencies. Duties include picking up and delivering requested items and supplies, with occasional transport to Anchorage when needed.
Work is performed and duties are carried out in accordance with established policies, procedures, and Borough core values: Accountability, Customer Focus, Dedication, Integrity, Responsiveness and Teamwork.
Coordinate with Purchasing to track waiting and completed orders, accurately recording deliveries and pick-ups.
Provide friendly customer service.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
