Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Independent Contractor with a cargo van to join our dynamic delivery team! As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own schedule and vehicle, delivering packages efficiently, and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Duties Safely operate your cargo van to pick up and deliver packages across designated routes with precision and timeliness Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures when required Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly, professionally, and courteously with clients during drop-offs Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of your vehicle to ensure safety and reliability Use route navigation tools to optimize delivery paths, adhering to scheduled timelines Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading pallets or boxes using forklifts or pallet jacks when needed Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with box trucks or cargo vans Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle interactions professionally Experience in warehouse operations, including moving heavy items and operating forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred) Ability to perform manual lifting and physical activities associated with loading/unloading packages Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety procedures for commercial driving Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles (if applicable) and managing long hours on the road Join us if you're ready to hit the road as an independent contractor with your cargo van — delivering smiles one package at a time!
