The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting small parcels efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong route driving skills and the ability to handle various delivery tasks, ensuring timely and safe deliveries We are a small business. Family owned and operated. This is a 1099 position in your own vehicle. Any size car works. Packages are small Amazon packages. We have options to help pay for some gas. Deliver in the same area everyday! Tuesday - Sunday!!! Start as soon as tomorrow Duties Drive designated routes to deliver supplies in a timely manner. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy or bulky items when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience with loading and unloading cargo, including familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required depending on the vehicle type used for deliveries. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not mandatory. Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods during loading/unloading activities.
