Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Package Delivery on Demand driver and become the vital link between businesses and customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely using various vehicle types, ensuring timely arrivals and exceptional customer service. Duties Safely operate personal vehicle , cargo vans, or other commercial vehicles to deliver packages on scheduled routes Load and unload parcels using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, handling heavy lifting with proper technique Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines Provide outstanding customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring package security upon delivery Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting packages, inventory management, and preparing shipments for delivery when needed Qualifications Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role involving route driving and package handling Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with drivers preferred Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Physical capability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform moving tasks safely Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning techniques Prior experience with heavy lifting, moving, or warehouse operations enhances your candidacy Embark on a career that keeps you moving forward!
