Pacific Coast Logistix has more than 30 years of experience in critical parts and medical logistics as a national service provider to our well-established and long-standing customer base. We partner with Service Providers and Independent Contractors across the country, who have reliable clean and well-maintained vehicles (cars). Our current need is due to our ever-growing Expedited Transportation business. As an independent Contractor (1099), you will have proven success in determining method, manor and means to complete all expedited pick up and deliveries you accept. You will also agree to provide all pickup and delivery time updates, and documentation, reporting both, verbally and electronically through our PCL and integrated customer applications.

Compensation:

Specific Rates are pre-determined, based off PCL and Independent Contractor negotiated rates, to be reflected in Service Provider agreement / contract. Compensation / IC, Settlement potential varies by contractor, and is based upon the amount of Expedited Transportation Jobs accepted and successfully completed. Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to accepted pickup and delivery commitments, timely communicating any challenges or delays. Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle and ensure proper functioning of all equipment. Follow all traffic laws to ensure a safe and positive reflection of your company, PCL and our customer image. Communicate with the operations team via our mobile app to include but not limited to, reporting arrival, pick-up, and drop-off times, POD's, maintaining chain of custody per agreement. Immediate communication of any and all issues. Execute integrity in compliance with and adhering to service provider agreement (contract), and negotiated rates. Manage your business with integrity adhering to and complying with all State and Federal laws and requirements. Keep Current with any and all customer required certifications as applicable.

The requirements are:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Professional courier experience is a plus but not required.
• Current driver's license & clean DMV record.
• Current vehicle registration & insurance declarations page (showing coverage amounts).
• Social security or work authorization card.
• Must use a smartphone with GPS.
• Must speak English.
