$18 per hour Estimated start date: Monday, September 28, 2026
Schedule:
M-F, 9:00 am - 1:00 or 2:00 pm, with the possibility of working later as needed and as available Estimated end date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026 Must be able to pass criminal background and drug testing Job Summary The Election Support Clerk provides temporary support with election preparation and Vote-by-Mail processing. This position involves organizing election materials, processing ballots, verifying signatures after training, and assisting with other assigned election-related tasks. What You'll Do Prepare, receive, process, organize and reconcile Vote-by-Mail ballots. Verify Vote-by-Mail signatures after completing required training. Inventory, pack and prepare election supplies and equipment for Early Voting and Election Day. Complete assigned tasks independently or as part of a team. Follow established procedures and maintain accurate, organized work. Assist with other election related duties as assigned. What You'll Need Be a registered voter. General knowledge of office practices and procedures. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work effectively with others or independently. Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area. Ability to understand and follow detailed verbal and written instructions. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
