You will operate your own vehicle to ensure timely, safe, and courteous deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate your own vehicle, such as a box truck or similar, to complete delivery routes efficiently. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, heavy lifting skills, or equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Navigate assigned routes confidently using route driving best practices to ensure on-time deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries accurately. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of your vehicle throughout your shift. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving to ensure personal and public safety. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route planning and navigation. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual movement of packages safely. Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures is a plus. Skills in operating equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude at all times. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations, including manual transmission operation if applicable.
