Google Chrome, Safari Description To perform distribution and transfer services for the departments within SIU Medicine. •This position is ON SITE only• Examples of Duties 30% Distributes furniture, equipment and supplies to SIU Medicine locations 15% Moves and sets up furniture, including tables and chairs for SIU Medicine events 10% Receives and unloads trucks delivering to the School of Medicine 35% Picks up and delivers mail to/from main post office and campus, sort, process and distribute mail to all SIU Medicine locations 5% Keeps accurate records on deliveries, supplies and equipment as required 5% Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties described above. Qualifications Credentials to be Verified by Placement Officer 1. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of simple clerical procedures. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, such as moving heavy objects, bending, standing, lifting, and other manual dexterity tasks. Willingness to work, as directed, in all kinds of weather.

Condition of Employment:
