This flexible position offers the opportunity to operate your own vehicle while providing essential courier services to healthcare providers, laboratories, and clinics. Your dedication helps maintain the integrity of medical deliveries and supports critical health services in the community. New Drivers welcome Duties Safely operate your own vehicle, including box trucks or similar commercial vehicles, to transport medical items between facilities. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices. Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery or pickup. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly. Handle heavy or bulky items with proper equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, following safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Use your own vehicle: Cargo Vans Needed, Cars welcome Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities. Strong organizational skills for managing deliveries efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
