This role offers the flexibility to operate your own vehicle while providing essential delivery services that keep our communities connected. As a vital link in the logistics chain, you'll enjoy the independence of managing your schedule while ensuring timely, professional deliveries with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety. Duties Safely operate your personal or commercial vehicle, including box trucks, vans, or other delivery-capable vehicles, to complete scheduled deliveries. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow prescribed routes efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and delivery updates to ensure timely arrivals. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards during route driving and delivery operations. Interact professionally with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs as required by company policies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving manual handling and heavy lifting. Familiarity with commercial driving, including operating box trucks, vans, or vehicles with manual transmissions. Knowledge of warehouse procedures such as material handling equipment operation and load & unload processes. Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for safe driving practices. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Competence in using mobile devices for navigation, route management, and communication purposes. Physical capability to perform manual lifting tasks safely and efficiently in various environments. Pay:
$700.00 - $1,200.00 per week Application Question(s): Our Raleigh delivery routes operate out of the Garner hub with an 11:00am - 1:30pm start time. Are you consistently available to arrive and start between these times daily? Are you able to pass a background check that meets national delivery platform standards?
