Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles such as trucks with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers to deliver freight across assigned routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary Follow detailed delivery schedules and route plans to ensure on-time arrivals at multiple destinations Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for compliance and tracking purposes Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any unforeseen issues during transit Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and freight handling Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating various vehicle types including manual transmission trucks Experience operating specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is a plus Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures for freight delivery Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while maintaining safety standards Familiarity with different types of freight including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and freight requiring specialized handling Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and customers effectively Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills make a real difference!
