REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED Previous healthcare, laundry, warehouse, or delivery experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to push and pull loaded linen carts weighing up to 500 pounds with assistance from cart design and equipment Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a healthcare environment with exposure to soiled linen and cleaning chemicals

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Hospital environment operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week May require weekends, holidays and occasional overtime Exposure to varying temperatures in storage and loading areas The Linen Delivery Technician is responsible for the timely and accurate distribution, collection, and exchange of clean and soiled linen carts throughout the hospital. This position helps ensure patient care areas maintain adequate linen supplies while supporting infection prevention standards, safety protocols, and excellent customer service. The Technician will also be responsible for loading and unloading of washers and dryers and other various environmental services and laundry duties.
