MetroSpeedy is a rapidly growing last-mile logistics orchestration platform seeking independent bike couriers to complete delivery opportunities for our business partners throughout Manhattan. Contractors using the platform may access both scheduled and on-demand delivery opportunities across a variety of service windows. Opportunities are available 7 days a week, and contractors are free to accept or decline opportunities based on their own availability. What You'll Do Pick up and transport orders throughout Manhattan Use your own judgment and preferred routes while completing accepted delivery opportunities Communicate through the MetroSpeedy platform regarding pickups and deliveries Requirements Valid government-issued ID and authorization to work in the U.S. Smartphone with GPS capability and data access Familiarity with Manhattan streets and navigation Professional communication and presentation Ability to safely complete deliveries in a fast-paced environment Equipment Contractors may use their own bicycle or e-bike. Limited access to company-owned cargo bikes may be available in certain cases, subject to separate terms and availability. Contractors remain independent contractors, and the availability or use of company-owned equipment does not create an employment relationship. Compensation Contractors completing eligible delivery opportunities through the platform may earn compensation rates consistent with applicable NYC delivery worker regulations, including minimum active-time earnings rates currently set at $22.13/hour, plus tips where applicable. Some contractors may earn weekly payouts of up to approximately $1,200+ depending on completed opportunities, timing, availability, and market demand Flexible access to scheduled and on-demand delivery opportunities Tax Information Contractors are responsible for tracking their own earnings and accurately reporting income for tax purposes MetroSpeedy does not withhold taxes from contractor payouts If you earned $600 or more between January 1 and December 31 on the MetroSpeedy platform, you will receive a Form 1099-NEC via email on or before January 31 of the following year If you have questions regarding your tax obligations, please consult a qualified tax professional Why Contractors Use MetroSpeedy Access to scheduled and on-demand delivery opportunities Flexible engagement based on your availability Dedicated support team available through the platform Established partnerships and consistent delivery volume Please note: MetroSpeedy contractors are independent contractors and not employees.
