Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes Must be able to work one weekend day every other weekend. Ensure accurate loading of items, verifying delivery addresses and package details before departure Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses, providing friendly and professional service Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to maximize productivity Handle heavy lifting of packages, ensuring safe manual handling practices at all times Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes Skills Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver, with a strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills Customer service skills to handle interactions with clients professionally and courteously Warehouse experience is a plus for loading/unloading shipments efficiently Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission if required Familiarity with heavy lifting, moving items safely, and using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, load & unload operations, and heavy lifting Join us as a Courier Driver and become an essential part of our logistics team!
