Job Description:
LTS is seeking a Courier for the safe, timely transportation of specimens, supplies, reports, equipment, and materials to and from identified locations while meeting scheduled deadlines. The courier will be part of our growing TestandGo healthcare kiosk program and is eligible for our Courier Bonus Compensation. Employees must work in compliance with LTS policies, procedures, professional standards, and program protocols . This position requires the personal use of a vehicle and cell phone.
Compensations:
Pay rate: $22.00/hour Mileage Compensation Discretionary Bonus Kiosk locations: Bethlehem, PA and Pottstown, PA Expected hours per week: 5+ hr /per week.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan your route to meet all delivery deadlines while complying with transportation laws. Safely package, transport, and deliver items to internal and external clients on time, every time. Restock kiosks with correct supplies and quantities when assigned. Maintain an accurate up-to-date inventory of supplies kept on hand for auditing purposes. Perform basic kiosk function checks and relay status updates to your manager. Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Perform basic kiosk maintenance and troubleshooting using all tools provided, including screwdriver-based repairs, power/cord swapping, product reconfigurations, and resolving minor operational issues in the field. Submit required work reports and keep leadership informed of any real-time issues affecting service. Coordinate supply pickups and drop-offs as program needs evolve. You may be required to handle specimens and must follow all LTS safety protocols, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling specimens. May be exposed to infectious materials. Support other duties as the team needs — we're all in this together.
Additional Duties:
Must follow all LTS safety, infection control, and professional protocols including, but not limited to, proper donning of Personal Protective Equipment while collecting samples. Must be able to drive up to two hours radius of assigned area, depending on program needs. Must follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading/unloading supplies Must plan route with adequate time to meet identified shipping/delivery deadlines. Must have reliable transportation and mobile phone for use on the job. Must adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Must report issues impacting service and/or customer satisfaction in real-time. Available for flexible, as-needed schedule Monday-Saturday.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Active, valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle and mobile phone for use on the job. Basic computer and smartphone skills; comfortable with email (Outlook) and spreadsheets (Excel). Strong time management and attention to detail. Ability to work a flexible, as-needed schedule Monday-Saturday, no Holidays or Sundays. Ability to accept periodic shipments of supplies and equipment via delivery to house or local storage facility. Willingness to drive up to a two-hour radius from your assigned area as needed, mileage will be paid. High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and sit as needed. Able to lift and carry 15-20 lbs. unassisted and reach in all directions. Adequate vision (or corrective vision) for depth perception and color recognition. Able to perform both gross and fine motor tasks. Ability to work in latex safe environment.
