Job Summary Medical Courier Driver - Independent Contractor York, PA W L Consortium Logistics & Transportation is hiring dependable independent contractor medical courier drivers in the York, PA area for immediate and upcoming route opportunities. We are specifically looking for drivers who live in or near York County and can respond quickly to local hospital and medical delivery assignments. Current Opportunities Overnight STAT Medical Courier York-area drivers strongly preferred Approximate availability: 7:00 PM-3:00 AM Hospital-to-hospital deliveries Time-sensitive medical specimens and supplies Standby and per-delivery earning opportunities Additional work may be available as new routes are added Daytime Medical Courier Routes Approximate start time: 11:00 AM Typical route duration: 4-6 hours York and surrounding Central PA coverage Scheduled and on-demand assignments Requirements Applicants must have: Reliable personal vehicle Valid driver's license Current automobile insurance Smartphone with GPS and reliable data service Strong communication skills Dependable availability Professional appearance and conduct Ability to follow pickup, delivery, and chain-of-custody procedures Ability to respond promptly to dispatch when assigned Medical courier experience is preferred but not required. Drivers with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply: Medical or laboratory delivery Pharmacy delivery Roadie DoorDash Uber / Uber Eats Amazon delivery FedEx UPS Auto-parts delivery Rideshare or other professional delivery work Compensation Compensation varies by assigned route and may include: Guaranteed route pay Standby compensation Per-delivery compensation Additional pay based on route activity Exact compensation will be explained during the interview based on the route and schedule assigned.
