Job Overview this job is delivering small packages/parcels to residential areas using your personal vehicle. No CDL is required. We are seeking an energetic and reliable Courier/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and packages to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us maintain our reputation for promptness and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, navigating routes efficiently while adhering to safety standards and traffic regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle according to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring safe lifting practices. Verify delivery addresses and obtain evidence of proof of delivery Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or digital tracking systems. Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements not required but ideally experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and customer service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience operating manual transmission vehicles and commercial trucks such as box trucks or similar Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (pallet jacks, forklifts), and warehouse safety protocols. Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT requirements, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent communication skills with the ability to use mobile devices efficiently for navigation and delivery documentation.
