Duties Safely operate your personal vehicle, including car or SUV, to transport medical items between facilities. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques. Follow prescribed routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining proper documentation throughout the process. Communicate professionally with clients and team coordinators via mobile devices to confirm delivery details or report issues. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, weight handling guidelines, and safe lifting practices during loading and unloading activities. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating car or SUV preferred. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, route planning, and adherence to safety protocols for heavy lifting and material handling. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and healthcare staff. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs loads safely while following proper lifting techniques. Familiarity with mobile devices for navigation and communication purposes; comfortable using route-driving apps or GPS tools.
