Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles including cargo bikes, food service carts, or courier vans to transport packages efficiently. Assist customers with wheelchair support or other special handling needs to ensure a positive delivery experience. Manage customer expectations by providing clear communication about delivery times and addressing inquiries professionally. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude throughout each interaction. Use hand trucks, dollies, or pedicabs to load and unload deliveries securely and efficiently. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, following designated routes and safety protocols. Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and communicate any delays or issues to the dispatch team. Skills Experience as a courier or delivery driver with a strong understanding of navigation and route planning. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally. Knowledge of handling special needs equipment such as wheelchairs, dollies, hand trucks, cargo bikes, or pedicabs is a plus. Ability to manage multiple deliveries while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Strong communication skills to effectively manage customer expectations and resolve concerns quickly. Prior food service or delivery experience that demonstrates reliability and efficiency in fast-paced environments.
