Job Description

Courier Driver (Independent Contractor - Must Have Own Vehicle) Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Courier Driver to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for motivated drivers who own and operate their own vehicle and take pride in providing timely, safe, and professional delivery services. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for transporting packages and goods along designated routes while maintaining excellent customer service and adherence to safety standards. Your reliability plays a key role in upholding our reputation for efficiency and trust. If you enjoy driving, working independently, and being part of a fast-paced operation, this opportunity is for you. Key Responsibilities Safely operate your own vehicle (cargo van, box truck, SUV, or suitable delivery vehicle) to complete assigned delivery and pickup routes Load, transport, and unload packages securely and efficiently Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and confirm recipient information Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and proof of delivery records Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, issues, or route updates Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company delivery protocols Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers Perform light warehouse or staging assistance as needed, including lifting and organizing packages Qualifications & Experience Must own a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for courier work Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous courier, delivery, or route-driving experience preferred Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to lift, carry, and move packages (up to 50 lbs) Comfortable with prolonged periods of driving and physical activity Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to use mobile apps, GPS navigation, and electronic delivery systems Commercial driving experience or certifications are a plus, but not required Additional Requirements Proof of vehicle insurance (commercial insurance may be required depending on route) Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Why Join Us?
