Courier Driver

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Courier Driver to join our dynamic delivery team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages across various routes, ensuring timely arrivals and excellent service. Your driving expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will drive our success and customer satisfaction. Full time and part time available. (No half days)

Pay:

$185 - $195 per day depending on experience. Paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver packages across designated routes. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly. Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to driving and vehicle operation to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road. Requirements Experience in delivery driving preferred but not required. Will train anyone who is eager to learn. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL is NOT required! Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a dolly. Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS. Utilize scanners to code deliveries accurately.
