Plasmetech Lab & Services LLC is actively seeking dependable, professional 1099 Independent Contract Couriers who own or have access to a Cargo Van or Box Truck and are willing to travel 400+ miles daily. We specialize in the safe and timely transportation of medical supplies, laboratory specimens, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare-related deliveries. This opportunity is ideal for experienced drivers who enjoy long-distance routes and are committed to providing exceptional service. Position Details Independent Contractor (1099) Long-distance routes (400+ miles per day) Monday-Friday routes with occasional weekend opportunities Dedicated and on-demand routes available Weekly settlements Growth opportunities as new contracts are awarded Driver Requirements Must own or lease a reliable Cargo Van or Box Truck Must be willing to drive 400 miles or more daily Valid driver's license Current vehicle registration and insurance Smartphone capable of running routing and proof-of-delivery applications Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review Drug screening may be required depending on the contract Preferred Experience Medical courier experience Pharmacy deliveries Laboratory specimen transportation Logistics or freight delivery Route delivery experience Compensation Competitive settlement rates based on: Mileage Route type Distance Contract requirements Additional earning opportunities may be available for dedicated and expedited routes. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver medical supplies, laboratory specimens, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare materials safely and on time. Maintain accurate delivery documentation using mobile applications. Follow HIPAA and chain-of-custody procedures when applicable. Perform daily vehicle inspections. Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service. Meet delivery deadlines while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
