JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for delivering blood products to customer locations and performing scheduled blood pick-ups at Mobile and Donor Center locations. Delivers supplies to the assigned locations.
SCHEDULE
Part-time position, approximately 19 hours/week Variable schedule depending on blood drives, during later afternoon and evening hours
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties may be assigned): Picks up blood at donor centers and mobile drives as scheduled. Delivers supplies to donor centers and mobile drives as scheduled. Delivers and returns blood products, to include assigned STAT orders, to customer locations while providing a high-level of customer service. Returns trash and biowaste from donor centers and deposits it in the appropriate place. Identifies and reports any routine or non-routine vehicle needs or issues and notifies Supervisor, Inventory Management of additional maintenance needs. Maintains assigned vehicle in an appropriate manner to include washing and vacuuming and ensuring gas tanks are filled as necessary. Prepares shipping boxes and shipping supplies as assigned. Practices safe and compliant driving practices at all times. Performs special projects as requested. Complies with all policies and procedures as outlined in the CBC Employee Handbook, CBC SOPs or directives.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School education, or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license with good driving record. Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to organize daily work around scheduled blood pick-ups and deliveries. Able to follow directions with accuracy. Excellent customer service skills. Employee must be able to lift objects or materials weighing up to 50 BENEFITS
