Overview Join our dynamic team as a Medical Courier, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of medical supplies, specimens, and equipment. As a Medical Courier, you will be the crucial link between healthcare facilities, laboratories, pharmacies, and patients, delivering essential items with professionalism and care. Your role is essential in maintaining the integrity of sensitive medical materials while providing excellent customer service every step of the way. Duties Safely operate your vehicle. Follow established routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Verify delivery details with recipients, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately for record-keeping purposes. Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of delivery vehicles to ensure optimal operation and safety standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and healthcare personnel to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services, preferably within a healthcare or warehouse environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safe driving practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting, moving equipment, and manual tasks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus; certification is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and healthcare staff. Strong organizational skills to manage load & unload procedures, route planning, and documentation requirements.
