Pay & Benefits $500 Sign on bonus paid after 90 days of employment. Earn $600-$1,200+ per week Training pay: $120 per day Paid weekly Paid training Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Shoe Program Schedule 5-6 days per week Weekend availability required Start time: 7:30 AM Typical end time: Approximately 5:30 PM (route completion) Terminal Location Drivers will operate out of the FedEx Ground terminal located at: 4901 Alton Court Birmingham, AL 35210 What You'll Do Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers Load, unload, and organize packages for delivery Use a handheld scanner to manage deliveries and pickups Follow planned delivery routes efficiently and safely Provide outstanding customer service Perform daily vehicle inspections Follow all DOT and FedEx safety guidelines Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license Minimum 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Amazon, and similar experience accepted) Must pass a DOT Physical (paid by employer) Must pass a Drug Test (paid by employer) Must pass a Background Check (paid by employer) Able to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment Comfortable working in all weather conditions Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Delivery driving experience Route driving experience Box truck, step van, or commercial vehicle experience Strong customer service skills No CDL Required!
