Role Summary:

We are in search of a diligent Delivery Driver responsible for the pickup and delivery of packages within the local area. This role demands a strong emphasis on punctuality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety protocols.​

Compensation:

Drivers are compensated on a per-stop basis, with rates varying by route type. For city routes, drivers earn $3 per stop, consisting of $1.60 per stop in wages and $0.50 per stop for mileage reimbursement. Drivers assigned city routes receive a guaranteed minimum payment based on 100 stops, amounting to $160 in wages and $50 in mileage reimbursement per day. Compensation for stops exceeding this guaranteed threshold will be paid at the standard per-stop rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute timely deliveries of a diverse array of items to designated addresses, navigating various routes to ensure efficiency. Perform thorough inspections, loading, unloading, and operation of your vehicle to maintain optimal functionality. Engage professionally with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Strictly adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and uphold all safety standards to ensure compliance and safety. Maintain clear and effective communication with fellow drivers and management to facilitate smooth operations.

Vehicle Evaluation:

Candidates must provide their vehicle for assessment and ensure it fulfills the following criteria: Model year of 2016or newer.

Accepted vehicle types:

large SUV, minivan, or pickup truck equipped with a cap. Proof of insurance listing your name. Vehicle registration in your name or in the name of an immediate family member (parent, child, or spouse).

Qualifications:

A minimum of one year of verifiable experience as a Delivery Driver, demonstrating reliability and competence. Physical capability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 100 lbs, ensuring safe handling practices. Possession of a clean driving record, free from traffic violations and DUIs, reflecting responsible driving habits. Legal authorization to work within the United States, in compliance with federal regulations. Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive drug screening, ensuring fitness for duty. Willingness to undergo and clear a thorough background check, maintaining the integrity of our workforce. Must be at least 21 years of age, in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
