Job Description
Job Overview to join our team as a Personal Vehicle Delivery Driver, where you'll be the friendly face delivering exceptional service directly to customers' doorsteps. This role involves utilizing your personal vehicle to transport and deliver FedEx packages efficiently and safely, ensuring a positive experience for every customer. Your commitment to safe driving will help us build trust and loyalty in the communities we serve. Pay Hourly pay is $11, you will also be compensated $1 per stop completed . Employees are paid weekly, on Fridays. Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle to deliver packages and goods to designated locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards. Load, unload, and handle items with care, following manual handling best practices and safe lifting techniques. Navigate route driving efficiently using mobile devices for directions and delivery updates. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with recipients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries made, time stamps, and any delivery issues encountered. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure your personal vehicle remains in optimal condition for daily deliveries. Requirements Valid personal driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have a valid registration and carry personal insurance on your vehicle. Vehicle MUST be in good condition (no busted windows, no large dents or rust, etc.) FedEx will overlook your vehicle through photos and approve or deny at their discretion Vehicle manufacture date may not be any more than TEN years old. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, adherence to safety standards, and ability to navigate urban or rural routes confidently. Physical ability to lift heavy packages safely, following proper manual handling practices; previous warehouse or moving experience is beneficial. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
