Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Gas Station Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing retail transactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the station. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to assist customers efficiently while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail and customer service skills within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling vehicles accurately and efficiently Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store, and surrounding premises Stock shelves, merchandise products, and ensure proper merchandising displays Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance sales opportunities Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and monitoring stock levels Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction Follow phone etiquette protocols when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support store operations through basic math calculations for transactions and inventory counts Ensure safety procedures are followed during fueling operations and store activities Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is advantageous Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math concepts Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stock management is desirable Knowledge of phone etiquette and excellent customer service practices are essential for success in this role If you are enthusiastic about providing outstanding service in a lively environment while developing your retail expertise, we encourage you to apply.
