Mobile Detailer

Fresh Layer Mobile Detailing is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Detail Technician to join our expanding team. This role combines high-quality vehicle detailing with the convenience of mobile service, giving clients a first-class experience wherever they are. Key Responsibilities Exterior & Interior Detailing Perform thorough washing, waxing, and polishing of vehicle exteriors, ensuring a showroom finish. Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize carpets, mats, and upholstery to restore a fresh interior environment. Clean and disinfect dashboards, consoles, door panels, windows, mirrors, and other surfaces. Buffing & Scratch Removal Utilize professional buffing techniques and equipment to remove surface scratches, swirls, and blemishes. Apply protective products, such as sealants or ceramic coatings, to maintain long-lasting shine. Window Tinting (As Needed) Accurately measure, cut, and apply tint films for enhanced privacy and improved aesthetics. Ensure a seamless, bubble-free application that meets client expectations. Mobile Service Logistics Travel to various client locations in the San Diego area, arriving punctually and fully prepared. Safely operate both company and client vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized work setup on-site to deliver efficient and professional service. Customer Service & Communication Interact courteously with clients, addressing questions or concerns and offering detailing recommendations. Provide exceptional customer experiences by actively listening to client requests and offering customized solutions. Handle complaints with empathy and a commitment to resolving any issues promptly. Equipment & Workspace Maintenance Conduct routine checks on buffers, vacuums, and other detailing tools to keep them in top working order. Restock cleaning supplies and notify management of any needed repairs or replacements. Perform light custodial tasks, ensuring vehicles and work areas are tidy and safe.

Qualifications Experience :

Prior detailing, car wash, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.

Customer Service :

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to create positive client relationships.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in buffing, polishing, waxing, and basic window tinting techniques.

Driver's License :

Valid license with a clean driving record is required.

Time Management :

Ability to work independently and efficiently handle multiple tasks within tight schedules.

Physical Requirements :

Comfortable bending, standing, and working outdoors under various weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits Pay :

$18 per hour is first 30day (training period ) $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Plus tips and bonuses (based on experience and proven performance).

Job Types :
