Salary Range:
$17.13 - $20.50 Hourly $3.00 shift differential eligibility

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly parking lot and exterior environment Actively assist with directing vehicle inflow and outflow by signaling drivers to ensure a safe and efficient traffic flow in the parking lot and fueling area Provide prompt, friendly customer service; assist guests with fuel-related needs or questions as appropriate Monitor, promptly respond and report any safety hazards, spills, or maintenance issues on the exterior property to required management and reporting systems Perform routine exterior equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or damage (e.g., pumps, air machines, bulk propane) to required management and reporting systems Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance tasks such as snow/ice removal, applying de-icer, or managing weather-related safety hazards as needed Comply with company policies and store procedures, including all safety and environmental policies and procedures Adopt, comply with, and participate in all safety programs and trainings, attend mandatory job-related meeting/trainings as needed Support store staff with cleaning and upkeep tasks during high-traffic periods Assist with deliveries and exterior merchandise organization when needed Be a positive team-player, work cohesively with other employees, and contribute to a positive work environment Perform all duties with minimal supervision and may be required to work flexible hours, attend job-related meetings and other duties as assigned Obtain and maintain any required safety, food and age-restricted product certifications within 2 weeks of employment Maintain fuel islands, bulk-propane, RV waste water collection, trash receptacles, sidewalks, and landscaping areas

Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift Ability to see with 20/40 vision (corrective lenses acceptable) in order to see numbers on store inventory levels, items purchased, gas pumps in operation, and problems that may occur with gas pumps Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation Ability to follow safety procedures (eg. respond to safety alarms, contact 911 for emergencies) Frequent reaching overhead, gripping, wrist movement, and finger dexterity required to restock inventory, package items sold, operate POS system, receive payments, issue change, operate gas pumps, wipe pumps, maintain store grounds, and general housekeeping Frequent squatting and kneeling required for obtaining and/or replenishing items Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds (i.e. utilizing a hand-truck) Frequent lifting of 20 pounds or less from floor to waist, overhead and carry a short distance Sometimes required to lift in excess of stated conditions up to 50 pounds Ability to climb a stepladder to stock or retrieve materials and/or place or remove signs

There may be exposure to gas fumes and solvents, and occasional noise.
