Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide technical direction to lead aircraft workers and aircraft works responsible for the upkeep, cosmetic appearance (interior and exterior) of Executive Airlift Aircraft. Coordinates cleaning efforts with production supervisor to ensure all mission scheduled aircraft are fully compliant with contractual standards for aircraft appearance and cleanliness. Prioritizes and assigns work based on daily flying schedule and future flying requirements to proactively stay ahead of requirements. Monitor flying schedule to ensure adequate personnel are available to support daily operations. Adjust work schedules or mandate overtime to meet mission requirements. Conduct in progress assessments to ensure personnel are meeting requirements. Evaluate mission aircraft for compliance to contractual standards when technicians are complete. Provide direction when substandard performance is identified. Analyze data on quality assurance assessments and COR surveillance reports to determine adverse trends. Conduct root cause and corrective action analysis to correct trends. Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and adjust as necessary. Ensure personnel practice good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) awareness/prevention, and safety at all times. Ensure HAZCOM and HAZMAT pharmacy programs are followed according to the applicable directives. Ensure ground safety measures are observed in servicing and ground handling of all aircraft. Provide continuous on-the-job-training (OJT) of personnel and new employees. Review status of training program to ensure personnel remain qualified. Must be flexible to work, day shift, second shift, third shift and/or weekend shift as required.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required Must have in-depth knowledge of applicable aircraft and general flightline operations. A thorough working knowledge of applicable technical publications and ability to accurately interpret technical data are required. Must have a thorough understanding of the SAM mission. Good verbal and written communication skills and leadership ability are required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Note:
US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance. Must be able to obtain & maintain a flightline driver's license.
Preferred Requirements:
Lead Aircraft Worker experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $105K to $113K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
