Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind the pump! In this energetic role, you'll provide exceptional customer service, manage fuel and retail transactions, and ensure the safety and cleanliness of the station. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform accurate cash handling and cashiering duties Provide product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to maximize sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, convenience store shelves, and restrooms through stocking and merchandising Conduct product demos and promote store specials to enhance customer experience and increase retail sales Ensure safety protocols are followed during fueling operations and report any hazards or incidents promptly Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, organizing products, and monitoring stock levels to ensure availability Qualifications Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or in person Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, balancing registers, and retail math calculations Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach to assisting customers Experience working in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings or weekends Join us as a Gas Station Attendant where your energy fuels our success!
