Assistant Manager - Gas Station / Convenience Store We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations at our gas station and convenience store. This role is ideal for someone with retail, convenience store, or gas station experience who enjoys leading a team, providing excellent customer service, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary: $42,120 per year Performance bonus opportunities Christmas bonus Growth and advancement potential Supportive work environment Key Responsibilities Assist with daily store operations, including cashiering, inventory, merchandising, and customer service Lead, train, and support team members to maintain high service and safety standards Help manage scheduling, shift assignments, and staffing needs Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, pricing accuracy, and basic bookkeeping tasks Monitor inventory, stock replenishment, ordering, and shrinkage prevention Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming store environment Support hiring, onboarding, employee training, and performance development Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards Help drive sales through strong customer service, merchandising, and store presentation Qualifications Previous assistant management, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferred Retail, convenience store, or gas station experience is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable with cash handling, POS systems, inventory control, and basic retail math Ability to train and motivate team members Strong attention to detail in pricing, stocking, cash control, and store appearance Flexible availability, including weekends as needed Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus About the Role As Assistant Manager, you will play an important role in supporting store operations, building a strong team, and delivering excellent service to our customers.
