Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non-Commercial Driver's License (Non-CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate a variety of commercial vehicles to transport goods, equipment, and passengers safely and efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different types of vehicles, including box trucks, shuttle buses, and heavy equipment, will ensure smooth logistics operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle buses, dump trucks, and flatbeds to transport freight, equipment, or passengers. Load and unload cargo using appropriate tools like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement. Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to verify safety features, mechanical condition, and compliance with regulatory standards. Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries or pickups. Assist with moving tasks within warehouses or job sites by transporting materials or equipment efficiently. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding schedules, delays, or vehicle issues. Maintain detailed records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs for accountability and reporting purposes. Experience Proven experience operating various commercial vehicles such as box trucks, limousines, tractor-trailers, or heavy equipment like dump trucks and tanker trucks. Prior experience in shuttle driving, freight delivery, or route driving preferred. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot common issues. Familiarity with warehouse operations including load & unload procedures and use of forklifts or pallet jacks. Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively. Valid Non-CDL driver's license with clean driving record required; additional certifications such as forklift operation or heavy haul experience are a plus. Ability to handle manual transmissions and operate specialized vehicles like tow trucks or yard jockeys is advantageous.
