We're seeking dependable, customer-focused technicians to join our growing team. This is gig/independent contractor work such as Uber or Lyft. Work on your own time and at your own pace from anywhere. Drive from the comfort of your own vehicle. Must have your own tools and vehicle. As a Roadside Assistance Technician, you'll be the first point of help for drivers experiencing car trouble. You will respond to service calls and provide assistance such as: Jump-starting vehicles Tire changes Lockout services Fuel delivery Minor mechanical diagnostics

Drivers:

Will be paid weekly Need to be able to pass a background check Must be clean and professional

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to dispatch calls, providing support to stranded motorists. Diagnose and resolve roadside issues safely and efficiently Communicate clearly with customers to assess their needs and provide exceptional service Maintain service vehicle and equipment, as well as a valid driver's license and adhere to traffic regulations while driving to service locations. Complete service reports accurately

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Prior roadside or automotive experience preferred (training available) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions Strong problem-solving and communication skills Must be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays Summary As a Roadside Assistance Technician, you will be essential in providing on-the-spot vehicle support and ensuring customer safety. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs. Your ability to use an ohmmeter, while not required, will enhance your diagnostic skills, allowing you to quickly address electrical issues.
