In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles to customers and various locations, ensuring timely and professional delivery experiences. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, or personal vehicles to deliver cars to designated locations Load and unload vehicles using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment as needed Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and company safety policies during all routes Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices, including route details, delivery confirmations, and incident reports Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during drop-offs and pickups Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items associated with vehicle transport or related warehouse operations Experience Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or commercial trucks Familiarity with warehouse experience, including manual handling and material handling equipment operation like pallet jacks Knowledge of traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace for safe transportation practices Experience in moving or heavy lifting tasks requiring manual handling skills and adherence to safety standards Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication purposes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver or courier is advantageous
