Duties Safely operate various passenger vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other designated locations. Follow local driving routes and adhere strictly to state transportation regulations and traffic laws to ensure client safety at all times. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing compassionate support for individuals with mobility challenges or special needs. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch regarding pick-up times, routes, and any delays; foster positive relationships through excellent customer service. Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to real-time traffic conditions for punctual arrivals. Document transportation logs accurately, including mileage, route details, and client information, ensuring compliance with medical transportation standards. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver demonstrating safe driving practices. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize travel efficiency. Experience in medical transportation or paratransit services is highly desirable, showcasing knowledge of client handling and safety protocols. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and coordination with healthcare providers or dispatch teams. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including assisting passengers with mobility aids or heavy lifting when necessary. Requirements:
Must possess a clean driving record and be at least 23 years old Clean background check required. Drug test required. 3+ years of driving experience. You will be assigned a company car, which you will keep at your residence. Maintain cleanliness and up-keep of the vehicle
