$25.00/hr + $1,500
Sign-On Bonus Schedule:
Open availability required Workday end time is variable and ends when the last stop is complete Routes are variable and subject to change throughout the workday This is not a traditional 9-5 schedule and requires frequent daily overtime Make a Meaningful Difference Every Day At Dragonfly Health, we serve patients and families during some of life's most important moments. As the nation's first integrated hospice DME and pharmacy network, we provide critical medical equipment and compassionate support to patients across all 50 states. This is more than a delivery job, it is a call to serve others. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role that requires compassion, professionalism, and strong service skills, as technicians often interact with patients and families during emotional moments. Interacting with families after a patient has passed and providing upstanding service to patients in their final stages of life are not uncommon. It is important for anyone considering this type of position to understand that given we provide much needed life sustaining equipment for our patients, reporting to work timely and consistency is vital. We are a 24/7 operation, our technicians work mostly non-traditional schedules, requiring flexibility for on-call rotations, extending work hours at times at the last moment. Performance of the job with the utmost safety in mind is key. Our Technicians deliver, set up, and educate patients and caregivers on life-sustaining medical equipment such as hospital beds, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, and more—often in hospice and end-of-life care environments. The work is physically demanding lifting and maneuvering 80 lbs, emotionally meaningful, and essential to patient comfort and dignity. What You'll Do Deliver, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities Safely load, unload, and maneuver equipment including hospital beds, oxygen equipment, wheelchairs, and related supplies Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on proper equipment use Provide compassionate, professional customer service during sensitive and emotional situations Navigate changing schedules, route adjustments, and urgent delivery needs Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and leadership teams Important Realities of the Role We believe in being transparent so candidates fully understand the position before joining our team.
This role:
Is NOT a traditional 9-5 schedule and requires frequent daily overtime. Requires flexibility with variable end times depending on patient needs and delivery volume, this not preset or prescheduled. Happens as one's workday progresses. Includes rotating on-call responsibilities to include overnight, weekends, and some holidays Regularly involves extended shifts and last-minute delivery add-ons Requires frequent driving throughout the day Involves working in all weather conditions Includes entering patient homes, hospice environments, and occasionally supporting families after a patient has passed. Requires regular lifting, carrying, and maneuvering of equipment up to 80 lbs independently, including stairs and tight spaces Because we provide critical medical equipment to patients, reliability, attendance, and professionalism are essential. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with: Minimum 3 consecutive years of driving history No major moving violations or at-fault accidents Must be at least 21 years old Ability to pass: Background check Drug screening (including marijuana) TB testing Motor vehicle record review Prior delivery or customer-facing experience preferred Why Join Dragonfly Health?
