Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for patients requiring non-emergency medical services. As a key member of our transportation team, you will demonstrate excellent driving skills, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to safety and professionalism every day. Duties Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal operation. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during each shift. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices while adhering to proper safety procedures. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or maintenance needs. Skills Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving or similar roles such as limousine or school bus driving. Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns to ensure timely arrivals. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse passengers and team members. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle sensitive situations compassionately. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met. Valid chauffeur's license with a clean driving record.
