Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable transportation for patients requiring non-emergency medical services. Your energetic and professional approach will ensure passengers arrive comfortably and on time, supporting their health and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine excellent driving skills with compassionate customer service, making a positive impact on our community every day. •Driver must be 26 years ole and older•Responsibilities Safely operate various types of paratransit vans to transport patients and clients to medical appointments, hospitals, and other destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns efficiently. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a secure transportation environment. Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, professional, and attentive to passenger needs throughout each trip. Experience Previous experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Experience with paratransit services or transporting individuals with mobility challenges is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle maintenance tasks related to vehicle upkeep. Valid driver's license appropriate Knowledge of traffic laws and safety standards relevant to passenger transportation. We are looking for drivers with a clean 3-year driving record, drug-free, and can pass a background check. Transports times and schedules can change daily so the need for someone who can be flexible is required.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
