Ontrack Transport is currently looking to hire 2 drivers to join our professional team to transport passengers to and from medical appointments. We are looking for drivers who are interested in working long-term and who are fully dedicated. The potential candidates must be highly motivated, demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills. The candidates must be able to work in a professional manner with staff and co-workers and must be energetic, highly proactive, empathetic, reliable, and detail oriented. Responsibilities :

Safely operate wheelchair equipped vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations Load and unload passengers safely and secure wheelchairs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate member pick up and drop off and resolve any issues or concerns. Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation. Fuel vehicle daily Provide short and long-distance trips Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any issues or maintenance needs. Adhere to schedule and routes Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols, vehicle maintenance, and customer service. Must demonstrate good judgement and decision-making skills

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Have zero points on your Florida driver's license in the past 3 years Must have at least 2 years of driving experience as a licensed driver Must be at least 25 years old (Required by commercial insurance company) Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing Loading and unloading wheelchair vans Knowledge of GPS. Ability to learn and utilize company software Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members effectively. Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers and clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist passengers with mobility devices as needed` heavy objects, if required for the job Able to work mornings as early as 6:00 AM What comes with being part of the
